Emergency assistance benefits include a handful of services available to all eligible individuals, whether you qualify for on-going benefits or not. These emergency benefits cover help with utility shut-offs, back rent, temporary shelter for people who are homeless; and emergency housing issues like help with emergency moving and storage costs and help getting a security agreement.
