THE JUSTICE BUS IS COMING TO WESTERN NEW YORK

Neighborhood Legal Services is proud to announce that it is one of the very first legal services agencies to join OneJustice’s national JUSTICE BUS NETWORK.  OneJustice’s Justice Bus Network project expands upon the more than a decade of work the organization has already done on its signature Justice Bus Project. https://onejustice.org/probonojustice/justice-bus-project/

The Network aims to leverage the impact of pro bono volunteers by connecting with rural, isolated, and underserved communities. Through its Justice Bus project, Neighborhood Legal Services will replicate the highly successful California-based program, which utilizes pro bono attorneys and law students, in partnership with legal services attorneys, to overcome transportation barriers impacting the provision of free legal services in Western New York.

Neighborhood Legal Services’ local Justice Bus partners include: Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project; University at Buffalo School of Law; Seneca Street Community Development Corporation; and the Western New York Law Center.
