All Posts Organization Updates Congrats to our Phil Dailey Award winner 08/06/26 One of the NYS Bar Association’s highest honors is the Phil Dailey Award, given to a non-attorney advocate who demonstrates excellence and dedication to providing equal access to justice. We are so excited and proud to announce the recipient of this year’s Phil Dailey award is our own disability luminary – Darlene Westphal. In her 25 years with our team, Darlene has helped so many of our friends and neighbors with disabilities advocate for their rights and the benefits they’re entitled to, tracking down and pouring over countless documents, and speaking up for them during hearings and appeals. Her work mentoring and collaborating with other staff and partners has also been an invaluable part of our growth and advancement in the legal services space. Darlene is a beacon of inspiration and hope. Congratulations, Darlene, and thank you for everything you do for our community.
