
Nicole M. Komin
Attorney
Nicole Komin is a Staff Attorney at the Center for Elder Law and Justice. She created, implemented, and currently coordinates the agency’s Pro Bono Program. Nicole works with staff and pro bono partners to create and manage pro bono projects, place cases, match individual volunteers with appropriate clients, and coordinates trainings. She also oversees CELJ’s student intern program. Prior to joining the agency, Nicole was an associate at Cohen & Lombardo, P.C., where she specialized in family law, personal injury, and estate planning. Nicole is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association. She is also the Chair of the Newsletter Committee and Book Club Committee for the Women’s Bar Association of Western New York. Nicole grew up in Western New York, and earned her Bachelor of Arts from SUNY at Buffalo in 2010, her Master’s in Higher Education Administration from SUNY at Buffalo in 2012, and her Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2015.
