Christopher Szczygiel

Chris is a Staff Attorney at the Center for Elder Law and Justice. His practice focuses on mortgage foreclosure prevention, in addition to providing civil legal services to elderly members of the Seneca Nation and veterans in the City of Buffalo's Veterans Treatment Court. Chris is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association, as well as the National Association of Consumer Advocates and Mortgage Working Group of New Yorkers For Responsible Lending. Chris was born and raised in Buffalo, and earned degrees as the University of Delaware and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.
