The Community Economic and Equity Development (“CEED”) program’s objective is to partner with new and existing not-for-profit corporations by providing legal and capacity building assistance to build healthy and economically viable communities to better serve NLS’ client population.
CEED was developed to assist new and existing not-for-profit corporations in the five-county area served by NLS.
Due to certain restrictions, NLS can only work with select not-for-profit organizations in NLS’ service areas.
Acceptance of new clients will be on a case-by-case determination. Not-for-profit organizations do not have to be 501[c][3] organizations.

It could be as straightforward as answering a question they’re confused about, or making an impact on a larger scale by helping groups or agencies … grow and navigate the legal issues that come with growing.”
