The Community Economic and Equity Development (“CEED”) program’s objective is to partner with new and existing not-for-profit corporations by providing legal and capacity building assistance to build healthy and economically viable communities to better serve NLS’ client population.

About CEED

CEED was developed to assist new and existing not-for-profit corporations in the five-county area served by NLS.

Due to certain restrictions,  NLS can only work with select not-for-profit organizations in NLS’ service areas.

Acceptance of new clients will be on a case-by-case determination. Not-for-profit organizations do not have to be 501[c][3] organizations.

What We Do

Through NLS staff (attorneys, paralegals, and support staff), the following services will be provided:

The Community Economic and Equity Development (CEED) Program is excited to work with local not-for-profit organizations with their legal and capacity building efforts.
