Are you or your family in need of health insurance?
Funded by the New York State Department of Health, the Navigator program provides one-on-one assistance for individuals interested in shopping for and enrolling in health insurance through The New York State of Health – the Official Health Plan Marketplace. Navigators are now available to speak with individuals and families to provide education about the different types of health insurance plans offered through the New York State of Health (NYSoH) Marketplace and to assist with enrollment into public insurance programs and qualified health plans.
We can assist anyone in the State of New York, but we are based in Western New York, and we focus on residents of Erie, Niagara, Wyoming, Genesee, Orleans and Chautauqua counties.

Important Renewal Information
Every year, people enrolled in Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus and Essential Plan plans must renew their health coverage. During the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE), NYSoH has been automatically renewing coverage for people in those plans. People will need to renew their health insurance soon so call us to make sure your information is up to date so you don’t miss anything.
Stay Up to Date with Your Health Care
It’s important for you to be ready to renew your health insurance coverage. Remember to:
• Make sure your NYSoH account is up to date with your current mailing address, phone number, and email address, call us we can help. If you enrolled in health insurance through your Local Department of Social Services (DSS), you will need to contact them directly.
• If you enrolled through NYSoH, you could get text alerts from them by texting START to 1-866-988-0327. NYSoH will text you when it’s time to renew and then you can reach out to one of our Navigators for assistance.
