Haven House – Domestic Violence Awareness Art Show Opening Ceremony

October 15 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

From October 2025 to April 2026 there will be three displays in Erie County Family Court (floors 5 and 6) dedicated to bringing awareness to Domestic Violence and highlighting the incredible artwork created by Haven House clients throughout the years.

This event is geared toward young adults ages 18–24.
 The clinic will provide:
  • Free one-on-one legal consultations on record sealing under the Clean Slate Act
  • Know Your Rights education to equip youth with knowledge and confidence
  • Support around housing, employment law, and consumer credit protections
  • Access to reentry and wraparound services for ongoing support
To ensure participants feel truly supported:
  • All registered attendees who participate in the Know Your Rights session will receive a $75 gift card
  • Financial assistance will also be available to help cover certain outstanding legal fines, such as parking tickets, thanks to a youth grant obtained by the Buffalo Urban League
