Amanda had been embroiled in a bitter divorce/custody battle for years and came to NLS after her ex had refused to return her son from Alabama, costing her $3000, her job, and had to move into DSS housing in the process of getting him back. Through the diligent work of our own Lizzy Vinal-Adams, Amanda received sole custody, $11K in support arrears, and is now housed and working while getting back on her feet.
