
Roslyn L. McLin

Roslyn Lynette McLin is a Staff Attorney at Center for Elder Law & Justice practicing in the Housing Unit. Roslyn represents clients in Buffalo City Court in defense of housing code violations. Her practice includes representation of clients in housing courts throughout Erie County handling evictions, as well as providing counseling and advice in nearby counties, such as Chautauqua and Niagara Counties. Also, Roslyn negotiates rent and security deposit matters, as well as mediates landlord-tenant and tenant-tenant disputes.
Roslyn graduated from THE City Honors School, earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Accounting from Syracuse University, and a Juris Doctorate cum laude, with concentrations in Finance Transactions and Affordable Housing/Community Economic Development law, from University at Buffalo Law School in 2009. She is a member of the Minority Bar Association of WNY, the Bar Association of Erie County, the New York State Bar Association, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Prior to practicing law, Roslyn was an Assistant Vice President of Project Management for an international bank and managed staff in both the US and India. She also served as assistant to the Director of the Community Action Organization Sports P.L.U.S. program and Program Director for Say Yes Buffalo’s Summer Camp initiative. Roslyn is a proud Buffalo native, who resides with her son Dante and niece Jada.
