Work Incentives & Benefits Advisement Project  Invites You to the February 2020 Coalition Meeting

The next WNY Work Incentives Coalition meeting will be on Thursday, February 20, 2020

(8:30 a.m. registration; 9:00 a.m. program begins). The agenda for this month’s meeting will include:

Morning (9:00 start):  “The Federal (and State) Earned Income Tax Credit:  A Work Incentive that Saves on Taxes and Creates Larger Refunds.”  Speaker(s): Viola Palmer, Paralegal/Benefits Advisor & Karen Welch, Supervising Attorney, Disability and Health Law Unit, Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS).

Afternoon (1:00 start):  “Financial Literacy:  Helping to Create Economic Self

Sufficiency.”  Speakers: Viola Palmer, Diana Alvira, Ashley Gallagher, Michelle Voss,

Paralegals/Benefits Advisors, NLS

When:            Thursday, February 20, 2020 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

                        (Coffee, tea, Danish provided; lunch on your own)
