Disability Information Letters

More people ask for our help than we can serve.  We have created information letters that you may find helpful.  The information letters cover areas where our clients frequently have questions.  In some cases, the information letters below provide suggestions on how you can help yourself.

Neighborhood Legal Services provides community trainings on Work Incentives and Benefits Advisement for people with disabilities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our in-person trainings have been suspended.  Please check back periodically to see announcements of upcoming virtual trainings.  For more information, please click on the Western NY Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Project (WIPA) link below, or call toll-free 888-224-3272.

COVID-19 UPDATE: While these information letters contain general information,  courts, agencies and other governmental agencies have made many temporary changes to their policies and procedures because of the of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic.  Please consult the COVID-19 resources below for more information, or call Neighborhood Legal Services if you have a question.
